Mainstream Media Feedback Loop
Mainstream media pushes propaganda produced by multimillion dollar companies and personalities. Putting up with this screeching feedback loop will damage your skepticism and critical thinking.

Do you know what a feedback loop is?
You’ve definitely heard one before.
Sounding the Alarm
A feedback loop happens when a microphone used to capture sound gets too close to the speaker that is amplifying the sound.
Speakers create a hum, and when microphones pick up that sound, then it gets increased or amplified. The hum gets louder and louder… until it becomes an ear-piercing screech.
Mainstream media has become a feedback loop. Its hum is the counting of money that it gets from corporations investing in commercials and paying for programming. The screech is “Look over here!”
“Pay no attention to the actual problem.”
“Just work harder and… ignore everything around you
“…The world that is burning up… The waters that are flooding your land… The fact that the government is sucking up your money and giving it to people who surely don’t need any more!!!”
The fastest way to end a screechy feedback loop is to turn off the power. Another solution is to create space between the microphone and speaker.
What does this mean?
How do you cut the power to mainstream media and still stay informed?
What is mainstream media?
Am I suggesting that you stop watching or reading the news?
Yes AND no.
Here’s a couple of ideas:
The earbuds I’m talking about are skepticism and critical thinking.
Secondly, find news sources that don’t have a feedback loop. This would be news that lacks that hum of money being handed over. How can you identify these sources? Find out who or what funds them.
If a news story is about benefiting a company, be skeptical.
It will take some time to find trustworthy news organizations. It will take work identifying them.
Also, it will take help. Please, help me find these sources. My goal isn’t to become a news source. It is to find the organizations that actually put Americans First by reporting unbiased news that informs Americans. Media that is not slanted toward helping the companies that fund it.
Please, help me make a list of these kinds of news sources; ones outside of the screechy mainstream media, feedback loop-producing, propaganda-pushing multi-million dollar media companies. I’d like to share the list with others and have sources that I can rely on for my own personal information-intake.
